Register now for Summer 2010 classes! ArtShop! is located at 120 Indian Trail, Little Rock, AR 72227. Classes are intended to be taken on the same day of the week for one month. All supplies provided.
Registration: For information or to register, please call 501.681.3708. You can also e-mail me.
To ensure your space in class, a 50-percent deposit is required; the tuition balance will be due on the first day of class.
You can sign up monthly or for the semester. When you sign up, I will mail you a registration sheet. When I receive the sheet with a 50% deposit, you will receive a confirmation email. I cannot hold your space in class until the registration sheet is returned to me.
Discounts: Receive a 10-percent discount on the entire tuition (not to include material fees) when you register for a total of 3 or more classes.
To receive the discount, tuition must be paid in 2 installments (with 50% of the first installment paid ahead of time to hold your space in class). The remainder of the first payment is due the first day of class; the second payment is due the first day
of the November class. The 10% discount will be charged back to you if you opt out of a month or more of classes.
Cancellations: A $35 cancellation fee will be assessed in all circumstances. Please notify me of cancellations at least 7 days in advance of class to receive a refund of your tuition. If you withdraw within 24 hours of the class date, you will forfeit your deposit. If you have signed up for the semester, you will be charged back the 10% discount. (Emergencies will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.)
Missed classes: Classes are intended to be completed within the month they are offered. Credit cannot be given for missed classes. Your child can make-up in another class during the month if there is space available. If a private lesson is required for the make-up class, the cost will be $35.
Inclement weather policy: If classes are canceled due to inclement weather, the “missed classes” policy applies.
Private lessons: Private lessons are usually paid for one lesson at a time. Tuition is $35 per hour. A 24-hour notice is needed for cancellation, or you will be charged tuition for the time missed.
Artwork pick-up: I am not responsible for artwork left over 2 months.
Reminder: Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before class begins, and pick-up should be no later than 10 minutes after class ends. Thank you!

NOTE: Class size strictly limited to 5.
AFTER SCHOOL AND SATURDAY CLASSES
All after-school classes will be held Monday through Thursday from 3:45-5:00 p.m. and from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Saturday classes are now available from 1:00 to 2:15.
MOMMY AND ME CLASSES are offered on Mondays from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m.
SEPTEMBER - Still life of vase of flowers on 18x24 paper
We’ll discuss perspective, shading, shapes while we paint with acrylics.

OCTOBER - Something new: Embossed metal-and-more collage on wood
We’ll discuss balance, design and texture, texture, texture in October when we work on this 11x14 collage in a brand-new medium.

NOVEMBER - Papier mache (Gobble! Gobble!)
How would a BIG papier mache turkey, complete with feathers, work for a Thanksgiving decoration?
Monday (November 1, 8, 15); Tuesday (November 2, 9, 16); Wednesday (November 3, 10, 17); Thursday (November 4, 11, 18)
Saturday (November 6, 13, 20)

NOVEMBER MOSAIC CLASS: Christmas wreaths
Dates and times will be decided according to interest. $60.
DECEMBER - 3 seriously decorated folk art Christmas ornaments on wood
We’ll paint and decorate 3 folk art ornaments on burlap and wood (approximately 10x10) that will each hang from a festive ribbon.
Monday (December 6, 13, 20); Tuesday (December 7, 14, 21); Wednesday (December 1, 8, 15); Thursday (December 2, 9, 16)

OCTOBER - Mixed media Matisse
Watercolor, printing with ink, and cut paper shapes will decorate this “Matisse.”

NOVEMBER - Eric Carle collage
Painting and cutting and putting your favorite Eric Carle characters together in a collage will be a lot of fun. This one will take a lot of help from mommy!
$45 + $8 materials fee

DECEMBER - Christmas tree or snowman on canvas
